Littleton sits at the junction of Route 2 and I-495, giving the town direct access to two of northern MetroWest’s major highway corridors. The Littleton/Route 495 commuter rail station adds MBTA service on the Fitchburg Line, while Routes 2A, 110, and 119 handle much of the local traffic. Shopping is a more significant part of Littleton than in many similarly sized towns: The Point at I-495 and Route 119 combines stores, restaurants, a grocery store, entertainment, hotel, and office uses, while Littleton Common retains an older center with municipal buildings and local businesses.
