Greek and Armenian food is created here with only fresh and healthy ingredients. Even the salad dressing is prepared every morning by the chef. The tabouleh is a perfect way to start a meal and if you are having trouble deciding on a main dish, they have an Aegean Combo.

Gustazo Cuban Cuisine

Authentic flavors and the décor of Havana invite you to experience Cuban culture without leaving Waltham. Sample the chicharrónes, croquetas de hongos, or aceitunas and you will want to return for more.

John Brewer’s Tavern

Since 1770, there has been a Brewers Tavern in Waltham. Though it has changed owners and locations over the years, it has maintained the dedication to quality and delicious food. Their tavern specialties such as Brewer’s Mac & Cheese and Elaine’s Marinated Steak Tips are local favorites. The kids’ menu has all their favorites too, so everyone can enjoy this colonial themed restaurant.

Pho & Spice

A blend of Vietnamese and Thai cuisine provides culinary creations that can’t be found anywhere else. Their large menu features a variety of pho soups that include different meats and a vegetarian option. You can order Thai curry and adjust the heat, and there is more than one flavor of Pad Thai.

Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston

Reagle Music Theatre has been bringing high-quality musical theater to Waltham for over fifty years. Showcasing both local and professional talent in both classic and contemporary productions, the theater draws audiences from all over the region. They also look beyond their productions to the future by offering educational programs and workshops. Many theater professionals had their start right here.

Gore Place

The 19th century comes alive at this 50-acre estate on Gore Street. The country estate belonged to Christopher and Rebecca Gore and is still a working farm and valuable Waltham resource. Many people agree that the main attraction is the Leicester Longwool sheep. Tour the grounds and the magnificent 1806 mansion.

Charles River Museum of Industry of Innovation

Located in the Francis Cabot Lowell Mill, the artifacts in this museum bring the American Industrial Revolution to life. The tours, workshops, and lecture series are designed to inform and encourage.

Shopper’s Café

In addition to great burgers, salads, sandwiches, and pizza, they have 22 televisions, karaoke, and live bands. Since 1937, this has been a favorite neighborhood gathering place.

Prospect Hill Park

Slightly over 273 acres, this lovely woodland invites people to picnic, experience the scenic views, and enjoy nature. There is also a small amusement park and pavilions; pavilions can be rented for events.

Shady’s Pond Conservation Area

Nature trails through this lush terrain and pond area contain diverse ecosystems including various bird species. The trails provide a tranquil respite and an opportunity to view natural habitats.

Landry Park

This park offers some terrific open spaces for playing and picnicking. Locals report that the nature trails are well maintained and good for relaxing and taking in the scenery.

Nipper Maher Park

This community recreational facility contains four baseball fields, a basketball court, three tennis courts, and a playground. The park is open dawn to dusk and has lighting on the basketball court, the major league baseball field, and tennis courts.

Storer Conservation Land Trails

Wander through the 109 acres of enchanting woodland designed by Frederick Olmsted. This luxuriant property contains well-cared for nature trails, wetlands, and a National Historic Landmark house.
