John Brewer’s Tavern
Since 1770, there has been a Brewers Tavern in Waltham. Though it has changed owners and locations over the years, it has maintained the dedication to quality and delicious food. Gore Place
The 19th century comes alive at this 50-acre estate on Gore Street. The country estate belonged to Christopher and Rebecca Gore and is still a working farm and valuable Waltham resource. Many people agree that the main attraction is the Leicester Longwool sheep. Tour the grounds and the magnificent 1806 mansion.
Charles River Museum of Industry of Innovation
Located in the Francis Cabot Lowell Mill, the artifacts in this museum bring the American Industrial Revolution to life. The tours, workshops, and lecture series are designed to inform and encourage.

Nature trails through this lush terrain and pond area contain diverse ecosystems including various bird species. The trails provide a tranquil respite and an opportunity to view natural habitats.
Landry Park
This park offers some terrific open spaces for playing and picnicking. Locals report that the nature trails are well maintained and good for relaxing and taking in the scenery.
Nipper Maher Park
This community recreational facility contains four baseball fields, a basketball court, three tennis courts, and a playground. The park is open dawn to dusk and has lighting on the basketball court, the major league baseball field, and tennis courts.
Storer Conservation Land Trails
Wander through the 109 acres of enchanting woodland designed by Frederick Olmsted. This luxuriant property contains well-cared for nature trails, wetlands, and a National Historic Landmark house.
