The History of Beverly MA
Beverly MA was originally a part of Salem, which was settled by Europeans in 1626. It is a city of firsts. Beverly prides itself on being the birthplace of the United States Navy. It was from Beverly Harbor that the first ship commissioned for the US military, “The Hannah”, set sail.

Odd Fellows Building is located at 188-194 Cabot Street across from Beverly City Hall. J. Foster Ober, a local architect, built the structure in High Gothic Revival style in 1893. Hale Farm
Hale Farm is located at 39 Hale Street. In 1694, the oldest part of the house was built for Reverend John Hale who played a significant part in the Salem Witchcraft Trials from 1692 to 1693.
