The owners of this store believe that useful and attractive items should be reused and enjoyed. Most of the items are vintage and gently used home-goods, electronics, music, and books. Much of the inventory comes from estate sales.

The beauty of this 45-acre botanical garden cannot be overstated. There are more than 1,000 species of native plants that you can view. The main path is a mile long and benches are available throughout if you want to rest and soak in the surroundings. The Visitor Center has restrooms and snacks and there are picnic tables outside the Education Center.

Parks

Cushing Memorial Park

Located on the site of a World War II Army Hospital, these pristine 67 acres offer areas of relaxing open space and shade trees. Amenities include flower gardens, benches, picnic tables, paved nature trails, gazebos, and bird houses.

Carol Getchell Trail

Locals report that this is a wonderful trail for viewing wildlife such as birds, fish, frogs, and turtles. The raised boardwalks over wetlands and the stone benches provide expansive views of the Sudbury River.

Callahan State Park

Callahan State Park is comprised of 820 acres and 7 miles of marked trails. In addition to foot traffic, the trails are also used for horseback riding. Fishing is permitted in the ponds and since off-road vehicles are prohibited, the fish won’t be scared away.

Farm Pond

Farm Pond is a great place for water activities such as boating and fishing. It is also a favorite for picnics, weddings, and community events. It is unique in that there’s an aqueduct that crosses the pond and allows visitors to walk across the water.

Cochituate Brook Reservation
