Adams National Historical Park

The beautiful fourteen acres of this park contain eleven historic buildings that tell the stories of five generations of the Adams family. Members of this family include Presidents John Adams and John Quincy Adams; Charles Francis Adams, envoy to England; and historians Henry Adams and Brooks Adams.

Quincy Shores Reservation

Along Quincy Bay, the 2.3-mile-long beach provides access to the water and lovely views of the bay. Nature trails run throughout the reservation. The southern end contains Caddy Park which includes 15 acres of fields and marshland, a lookout tower, play area, and picnic tables. The northern end contains Moswetuset Hummock, a National Historic Site, which was a campground for the Moswetuset tribe. The woodland trails and marshland in the area are a favorite for viewing the flora and fauna that live on the Quincy shore.

Quincy Quarries Reservation

The large-scale quarrying industry in America started here and left steep walls that rock climbers love. The earth-filled quarry is now a popular recreation site that covers 22 acres. The land provides ample picnic areas and scenic views.

Nut Island
