Revere Luxury Apartments
About Revere
Three miles of beach along the Atlantic Ocean and five miles away from Boston, Revere could be a vacation destination. However, the water views and salt air entice people to make it their home. In another one of Massachusetts’ firsts, this is the oldest public beach in the U.S. and it’s within one of its oldest communities. The city is named for Paul Revere, who warned the patriots of the British attack and later helped fortify Boston. Now, Revere has become a great place to live, work, and have fun.

This three-mile beach has been luring people with its scenic beauty. Since this land became public in 1896, it has remained one of Massachusetts’ natural treasures. Both the Revere Beach Reservation Historic District and the Revere Beach Reservation are on the National Register of Historic Places. Swimming and fishing are allowed and there is a playground, athletic field, bandstand, and a pavilion.
Despite its popularity, the town is sensitive to Revere Beach’s wildlife – porpoises, hermit crabs, ospreys, gulls, eiders, shorebirds, and loons. In the spring, piping plovers build their nests on the beach. Enclosures are built to protect these delicate birds and their eggs, making this a lovely place to observe a natural habitat.
Rumney Marsh Reservation
Part of the 2,274 acres of Rumney Marsh are in Revere and are critical to the environment of the region. Coastal marshes provide natural habitat areas for both fish and other wildlife. This is a wonderful place for birdwatching, fishing, and taking in the pristine surroundings. To maintain the safety of the inhabitants, only non-motorized boating is allowed.
