The Boston rental market is tight. The Real Time Availability Rate (RTAR) for Boston apartments is 3.13%. This a 49.36% decrease in available apartments when compared to this same time of year pre- pandemic. As we discussed yesterday, some neighborhoods can offer renters a larger selection of apartments in Boston. Since September 1 remains the most popular move- in date for Boston renters, let’s take a look at some apartments in those neighborhoods available 9/1.

2 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom in Allston

Monthly rent: $3,750

This 2 bedroom is conveniently located close to several key bus lines. It’s a spacious unit with an open floor plan, and the natural light gives it an airier, modern feel.
